Infrared Inspection is a sophisticated means that we utilize on our inspections. It is a tool that assists us to preliminarily identify the presence of moisture and energy related issues, such as missing insulation or pathways for conditioned air loss and ambient air intrusion.

Misconceptions that some folks have regarding infrared imaging are that it has x-ray capabilities and also involves radiation. It does neither. The camera primarily detects the differences in surface temperature which we then interpret using Infrared Imaging training. We also use a state-of-the-art camera that combines the produced infrared image with what the eye sees, as shown above.
